Account settings
Manage Account identity, members, billing, usage, and privacy and retention facts.
Open Settings from the Account menu. Visibility and actions depend on the signed-in principal's Account role.
General
General shows the Account name, slug, WorkOS organization identity, and environment facts used to identify the workspace. The WorkOS organization remains the source of truth for production membership.
Members
Members lists verified users and their Account roles:
- Owner controls membership, billing, authorization, support policy, and deletion.
- Deployer connects Sources, operates ingestion, and manages ordinary grants.
- Auditor reads operational state and Activity.
Production invitations, role changes, and revocation are managed through WorkOS. Local development uses seeded memberships. Remember that a role is not a Source data grant.
Billing
Billing reports subscription status, payment state, trial or period end, and scheduled cancellation. Owners can open the Stripe Billing Portal. Stripe handles payment details. Trial, active, past-due, grace, action-required, and blocked states can change ingestion admission and retention messaging; follow the banner's action rather than creating a second subscription.
Usage
Usage shows:
- Trial MAR against the Account's trial limit;
- paid-window MAR;
- queries executed in the current month;
- estimated query input bytes against the monthly query budget.
MAR counts records that changed during ingestion under the billing contract; reported/extracted rows are not automatically billable changes. Query bytes are bounded scan estimates, not cloud billing precision.
Privacy & retention
Privacy displays active Sources, lapsed-trial recovery days, structured storage limit, the raw Desktop media boundary, and Source deletion semantics. Retention values are Account policy facts; the published defaults are explained in Privacy and retention.
Settings does not expose infrastructure credentials, provider secrets, lake paths, or raw event payloads.
